Just as possible options: when kissing (without tongue) you could lightly brush your lips against his/hers, like side to side but only ever so slightly. You can kiss someone with lips slightly parted (again, no tongue) and alternate gently kissing the top/bottom lip and/or to give the hint (if you don't want to intiate tongue) that his/her tongue may enter, haha. It's kind of like dancing, follow the other person's lead (especially when using tongue). If he/she is like a snake and you don't like it, place your hands gently on their face (cradling it, you know what I mean) and show them how you like to be kissed (i.e. by slowing down your tongue and creating a rhythm/ "drawing" patterns or shapes with your tongue).

Mints and gum are great (though I do find that alcohol is a good substitute if none are available). Brands of tasty/long lasting gum are: Stride, the new Dentyne Pure, and maybe Orbit, but I prefer the first 2.

You should figure out what to do with your hands during your snog-fest as well. Hand(s) running through hair or gently caressing/sweeping back head/hair is good, or holding hands, or kind of massaging/holding onto the person's torso; trial and error on what the other person doesn't mind and that you are comfortable with.

Once more comfortable w/each other, you could try GENTLY biting the other person's bottom/top lip as a little tease or even suck on their tongue (it may sound weird, but if done right, can be pretty pleasurable, especially for a guy). Sucking the person's top/bottom lip ever so slightly is nice too, but all of this depends on how the other person likes to be kissed. Trial and error.

I guess I'm more concerned with why you haven't been kissed. Are you young? Is it a personal choice?

I don't ask that to be mean, but I'm just wondering if perhaps you are shy and have trouble communicatiing with the opposite sex?

Kissing is kinda like looking at a math question. All these people can give you the answer but it's up to you to figure out how to do it. (But the advice on how to kiss was good advice, that was no diss on you)

I've never been kissed and I'm 19.

I wasn't the type to date just anybody in high school. Also, I'm 6'0" and it's hard to find genuinely nice guys taller than me. So I haven't really ever dated and now I'm in college with no experience.

So I know exactly where you are coming from.

However I'm not completely embarrassed about it. I know that I'm not a creppy, smelly, weirdo girl.

I've only every been asked out a couple of times, both by guys I was NOT interested in at all. One when I was a wee bit drunk.

Anyway, back to the point.

The point is, you will do it when the time is right, and when it is, if its truly the right time and person, you will just know what to do. Instinct.
