He told you he doesn't find lingerie sexy. Why don't you take him at his word? It amazes me how a woman can be told "I don't find lingerie sexy," but what she hears is, "You are unattractive and smelly and I don't like you."
Plenty of men don't like lingerie. And I'm one of them. It's like asking a little kid on Christmas morning how he liked the wrapping paper. Whatever. We want you out of whatever you are wearing as fast as possible.
You think you're wearing lingerie for your man. But, in fact, you're wearing it for yourself. Firstly, women love lacy things. It's genetic. Guys love mud. Chicks love lace. I think the real value of lingerie is that it makes the woman wearing it FEEL sexy. Which is important. The sexier a woman feels, the more comfortable/kinky/freaky she'll be in bed. Whenever a woman I'm with decides to show off a fancy bra and panties, I let her strut her stuff. I want her to feel sexy, before I show her how sexy she is with my fingers.
Now, maybe your boyfriend could have been more tactful. Maybe he could have said, "Baby, you look hot no matter what you wear. But I just want you to know that usually, I just can't wait to strip you down so I can put my mouth on you."
He doesn't like you to wear "sexy things" because you are a sexy thing. He's not rejecting you. He's trying to tell you what he likes. Listen to him.
And don't translate what he's saying.
Personally, I hate lace. It itches and it's just uncomfortable for me. I like cotton underwear and bras. They can still be cute, and comfy.
(I want her to feel sexy, before I show her how sexy she is with my fingers. )
Sorry almost had an orgasm of that sentence.

Me too!
That was awesome.
From what I've been able to gather, most guys don't want you in some crazy contraption-like lingerie that extends the time period of removing your undies.
Best way to go: boy shorts. Super comfy and super sexy. Plus they come off quickly :).
It is always interesting how women consistently take the "I don't like that earing you're wearing" to mean "You are ugly and I hate you". Making negative statements about things related to SOs must always be preceded and followed by disclaimers exhaulting their beauty, intelligence, and personality.
I have to disagree with the "You think you're wearing lingerie for your man. But, in fact, you're wearing it for yourself" statement. True that lace is for women and mud is for men, but seriously, most lingerie are made for men, and not for women. I will say that some lingerie make women feel sexy, but which woman wants to wear itchy lace and panties with holes?
