In regards to your question, I'd think that getting head in a car would be an expectation of swallow and not spit. For one, where would you spit? Out the window of a moving car? I suppose if you're parked then its one thing. You can just open the door and call it a day. But from stories I've heard of personal experiences of other people (you see what I did there?) most have been getting domed off while the car was in motion, which...if spitting were to occur would probably make a huge mess.

As a man, I say support the swallow. But that's also saying that as a man with a car. I don't care if you spit or swallow one way or another. That's totally your own call. But for tidiness, ease, and convenience, I'm thinking in this situation, the swallow is your bird.
