What color do you look good in and like wearing?
I've mentioned this before, but men are far less picky about fashion than women are. Even if they are picky, any smart guy isn't going to be a jerk about what you choose to wear. All men really want is for you to look good.
So, choose what you like. Wear colors that you personally find flattering or that you like wearing. That'll make you confident, which will make you fun to be around, which in the end is way more important.
This guy has a strong preference for women that wear transparent clothing :P
It should not matter what color you wear. A guy should not be looking at what you wear. They should like you for who you are. You need to wear clothing that makes you feel confident and happy. If you are dressing the way he wants you to then something is wrong.
You should wear whatever makes you feel good, as RP said. Just keep this in mind though - men are visual creatures. If your goal is to catch some male attention, a long maxi skirt that hides your shape will not readily attract said attention as well as a pair of shorts will.
I have heard that red catches attention (of both sexes), but ultimately I agree with everyone else - If you don't feel good in a color you'll look terrible in it, and if it makes you feel great everyone will be able to see that.
