Aw, aren't you sweet to be concerned for us? My disco stick thanks you.
Yes, riding a bike can be uncomfortable for a guy. The junk definitely gets twisted and compressed and discombobulated. And sweaty. The worst is when you hit a bump, which is why you'll often see guys come up off the seat a little when going over rough terrain. It hurts.
What makes bike riding possible at all for a guy is the unique design of the male genitalia. Though housed together as one unit, the testicles are separate and can divide and conquer when needed, much like an independent front wheel suspension on a car. The flexible sac can straddle the narrow front point of a bicycle seat and each ball can go to one side, out of harm's way.
That leaves only the penis, which can lie flat on the seat and is capable of almost the same kind of compression that a rodent will employ to get its body through a tight space (and into your basement or attic).
Hey, you asked.
But let's get a second opinion from my buddy and biker, Frank Irwin. Says Frank, "The bicycle seat really doesn't interfere with a guy's junk. The pelvis is upright, not leaning forward, with the seat supporting his sit bones. Some guys have trouble with the seat exerting too much pressure on the perineum (AKA taint), causing numbness in areas that he would rather not be numb. There are slotted seats which are supposed to prevent this problem."
Hope this helps.
Great..now I can't get the visual of a penis just lying across the bike seat enjoying the ride. Nice.
Yeah.... I recently got into bike riding and when I was at the store just looking at the men's bike seats it was.... strange. Have you seen how LONG those bike seats are?! lol
Ewwww....Wise-Ass! I could have gone my entire life without reading this!!!
Hey, I don't ask the questions. I just answer them.
They also make special bike seats for dudes now! My husband has one - it's split down the middle in the back to give the jibblies somewhere to go. The penis, apparently, is still on its own.
LOL Fabulous description Wise Ass! .
Glad to see that you pulled Frank in on this one, as I was expecting to see him in the comment section.
