Men do exactly what you think we do. The first things we physically notice about women are the ladyparts. Boobs stand out (no pun intended, but unavoidable). And of course we like to see the derriere and the curvaciousness, if present. And oh yes, we love seeing faces. While that moves up and down the list of priority for different men, the fact is that we all do care about what a woman looks like if we're genuinely interested. Not just interested in seeing her naked, but interested in seeing her outside of the house.
As far as what hooks a man, its different for every guy. While physicality is our first line of defense, most of us end up falling for a woman by surprise. Maybe it just happens that one day he has a great time with a chick and is kind of taken aback by the fact that he wants to spend more time. It might be her smile or something she says or does. Heck, I don't even konw what it was about any of the woman I've fallen for. I know they were all attractive, but after a certain point, the woman was more important than her attractiveness.
So what brings us together is how you look (shallow I know) but what keeps us there is how we feel around you...with you looking like you look.
If you're ever curious as to if you got a dude who's hooked on you, just pay attention to how much time he wants to spend with you. If he's always trying to get together, he's a goner.

I always notice faces first, myself. Then admittedly I'll try to sneak a bit of a look at a girl's legs. After that, the thing that I'll actively watch for his how she carries herself; does she seem confident, arrogant, or shy?
As far as hooking a guy is concerned.. the girl I'm currently seeing got me hook, line and sinker by being awesome. She's funny, sweet, inquisitive, has spectacular taste in music, and I actually get excited to see her or talk to her, which is all pretty new territory for me.
If being yourself isn't enough to hook a guy, keep moving until you find one that wants you for you. I imagine you'll be much happier in the end.

i've asked my boyfriend what he notices about a girl first and he said eyes but i never asked what he noticed about me. well point is he doesnt really care about that stuff the guy above my comment is right once a guy falls in love with you or really likes you he will forget about the physical stuff and just love 2 be around your presence and just be able 2 see you, however they don't forget completely so don't think that he will never want to kiss u or touch you or.. welll you get the point. :)
