False! Many, many men love women with short hair. In fact, there's an entire Tumblr (NSFW title) called F-- Yeah Girls With Short Hair dedicated to photos of cute girls with short hair.
Many cute celebrities like Ginnifer Goodwin from Once Upon a Time and Natalie Portman sport short hair. The pixie cut will never go out of fashion. It says, "I'm cute and spunky. I can be one of the guys, but I also like cupcakes and buying weird jewelry on Etsy." It's hip, it's modern. And it's easier to manage than long hair.
Most guys don't exclusively prefer one hairstyle -- they will fall for girls based on a lot of factors. Hair is just one part of the whole package that is you. So don't get too hung up on it. Wear your hair in ways that make you feel confident and sexy. Long, short, curly, etc. If you're feeling in a rut, try a different style. But you sound fun and confident in your style. The key is confidence. I guarantee you there is a guy out there who thinks you're cute and likes your short hair. Maybe you've already met him. But don't listen to anyone that says guys don't like short hair. Because that is just nonsense.
Every dude is different - just like every woman is. It'd be like saying most women like men with hulk-muscles. Just not true.

I think men like women with hair that suits them! Some short styles work wonders with showing of a lady's pretty face, but on someone else would look ridiculous.
Also maybe think about how your hair would behave at a different length before getting the scissors out (I got an undercut to thin my hair out a bit a while back so I know mine would stick out at silly angles and look insane. Seriously, now it's grown a bit I sometime give myself an extreme side-parting just to giggle at it)

FIrst OFF, men like women, period.
Second, men do prefer women with longer hair. Go to any place, bar, restaurant, park, etc, the woman with the long waves or straight will get immediately recognize as more feminine, sensual, sexy, etc. Men will be drawn nevertheless to women with longer hair, BECAUSE hair is thing men notice first on women, then body, and facial features.
That said: many many men also are drawn to unique women. That is: women with short hair. Thing is, women with short hair are usually perceived as hip, definitely different, maybe even daring?, quirky, non-conformist, retro, and cuuuute. They will be drawn nevertheless.
So love who you are.
On the personal side, Ive always had beautiful long black hair and ALWAYS get notice because of this. Men are drawn like bees to honey as Im always the black hair lady among seas of blonde women...men like different definitely.
