OK, a bit of a cheat as it is four questions in one, but these all came in within an hour or so of each other.
What does it mean when i guy says lets meet up or hang out?
He wants to spend some time with you.
When a man says that we can be friends is it over or he's just saying that?
He isn't into you but he likes you.
What does it mean when a guy say: When will you marry me?
Pick a date and watch him panic. Cruel but fun.
why is that guys want pictures of pussy? opend and closed?
He has probably never seen one.
Unless a guy is actively trying to get into your pants, or talking about his prowess at various things (sex, sport, earning money, driving), assume he is saying exactly what he means. Guys are weird that way. Talking is a way to convey information without wasting words.
Bonus points to anyone who recognises the tag.
"opend and closed?" ---> WTF?!
I cracked up on that one too...
The tag? Is it about "Alfie" the movie, with Jude Law (the remake of the one with Michael Caine)? There's this song in it that goes, "what's it all about, Alfie... is it all about you?"
Is that it?! Do I get the bonus points?!
Close, but it is much much older.
Michael Caine 1966 Alfie. The love you make is equal to the love you take or reap what you sow. Making sense of your life.
Even older :)
"Pick a date and watch him panic. Cruel but fun" - loved that line!
Thanks for that -- needed a 'happy thought' for the day! :)
What's it all about, Alfie?
Is it just for the moment we live?
Dionne Warwick 1967?
Close again, but 63 years too late.
Can you give us a hint? I have googled it and only find the song, and some cross country runner guy from 1904.
Very famous author, but one of his lesser known works.
Is it James Joyce?
Leo Tolstoy?
Alfred Bester?
OK, one final clue - I'll give you the author, still want the book.
H G Wells.
The Food of the Gods and How it Came To Earth??
Bingo
One guaranteed question answer :)
The Food of the Gods and How It Came to Earth is all I can find that might fit from 1904... And none of the characters seems to be called Alfie, though there is an Albert. How woefully pitiful for a scifi geek... *shame* :) Fun game, I love this sort of thing.
Aw, man. I hate the comments lag.
Mouse - only three minutes out - so one for you too.
MM you're awesome. Thank you so much! Now I gotta find that book and read it. :)
It is on project Gutenberg, if you don't mind reading it on your computer.
http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/11696
And is well worth a read, despite the slightly archaic language
Thanks. I'll check it out.
I asked my question in the proper box thing, instead of here. Was that right?
Greet stuff thank yo for the information
