For me - TOUCHING. No, not that sort of touching - lift your mind from the gutter a second. I mean the gentle touches - the brushing of hands together that send shivers up your arm, a soft caress of a cheek, twining a lock of hair around your finger. Nothing beats that.
Plus, you can do it in public.

As for me, I like the element of surprise. A kiss for no reason is always an "Oh, wow!" moment.
For me, it was the things my guy said during sex. A whispered, "Oh yeah baby, that's my girl," was 'almost' as good as the act itself and it went a long way in making me feel special.

It's such a simple thing, but I think holding hands while having sex is fantastic. ^_^
I think for me its ANTICIPATION, and I love letting it build throughout the course of the day. It can start with anything from a sweet make-out session while still in bed in the morning to sexy texts back and forth at lunch to the exchange of naughty voicemails sometime in the late afternoon until we meet back at home for dinner where we're still flirting w/each other but in a playful way until we both know we can't hold back anymore. Even in the middle of intimacy, slowing things down when they're really heated and then gradually letting desire (and frustration) build up again is something we both enjoy.

I was still pretty new to sex when I started dating my current guy, so I was constantly on edge about whether or not I was doing it right or being sexy enough, and he was worried (or at least he better have been) about doing everything in his power to make a good impression on me.
For example, he was/is on medication that made it hard for him to cum at times which I always took it as me just not being good enough to get him off and made me really upset. It also turned out that unlike his other girlfriends, I was the kind of girl who was more likely to kick him in the face than orgasm when he tried to go down on me. It made him feel terrible even though I'm pretty sure I`m the freak there.
Ulimately I think dwelling on stuff like that lead to a lot of needlessly hurt feelings and less-than-sexy sex for the both of us. Now we kind of just enjoy each other, and don't make it a big deal when silly or embarrasing things happen. Admittingly sex isn't always sexy, but its always pretty great. Plus we laugh a LOT more.
