I don't make sex tapes. First of all, you know that old saying "lay down with dogs, wake up with fleas?" Well, the 2010 version is "make a sex tape, wake up with it on the internet." Thirdly, I'd like to address the "ego" argument for why your man wants to make a tape so badly. I think this has to be the most plausible reason for dude's making sex tapes. I mean, I get how making a video can be sexy. You get to act like porn stars. Pretending you're being filmed or watched adds a naughty, exhibitionist rush to what's essentially a role playing game. But sometimes I can't help but think that there are dudes out there who think of sex tapes as trophies. Who knows? They watch them when their self-esteem is low? Or maybe the plan is to be able to watch themselves in their prime, nailing hot tight bodies when they are old and wrinkly?
The point is: you shouldn't have to do anything you don't want to do. If he begs and pleads, make a compromise. Video tape him. Direct a private movie where your man strips for you and does whatever you tell him to do. If he's into it, and enthusiastic, maybe you'll warm to the idea.
At least try that.
