What is the maximum amount of nerdiness a girl can possess before the guy is turned off?

Anything under 1.21 Jigga Watts. - Or - In layman's terms, anything under a Kalimdor quart.

I didn't ask this question, but I sure am interested in actually hearing an answer! I've ben wondering the same thing myself...

Sherri

^ what do you mean? his answer was perfect :p but i guess only a nerdy girl would get it...

haha great answer funny guy- take a chill pill K, k?

No

I agree with K - I'd like to see more straight answers from Amit. I don't think being the "Funny Guy" means that you make complete jokes out of every question. What I liked most about Swaim was that he could be hilarious and still give helpful answers simultaneously. I understand that every GuySpeaker makes occasional jokes out of dumb or pointless questions, but this question is pretty legitimate.

Maybe it would have been a better question for Nick.

Ooooooooooo, hear that Funny Guy? M has challenged you. Better come up with a better answer, or a better joke at least.

It wasn't a legitimate question, and he gave a perfect answer. Now if you got his answer, you may actually be too nerdy for some guys, or maybe just nerdy enough for most.

But reall, it's going to be different for every guy. What's one man's turn off is another's aphrodisiac, basically staying up all night on wow, and not showering for three days at a convention wearing the same klingon costume even to sleep in may take you off many a guys potential partners list, but it will make you some guy's dream babe.

Nerdiness is not gender based, even though there might seem to be a lot more nerd guys especially in media, the nerd girl is a hot commodity! you're only too nerdy if you don't enjoy it, and then your just not as nerdy as you're trying to be.

As a proud nerd girl, i almost find this question offensive, almost, love yourself nerd and all, that's what will get you a guy. thinking you're too nerdy just makes you give off unconfident vibes, and that might turn a guy off, but nerdiness on it's own, in mst cases, shouldn't.

Doctor Who Fan Girl (and Doctor Who) FTW :D

Well, excuse me for relating to the question and feeling it wasn't really answered. I do sometimes feel like I am too nerdy in some circles, but not nerdy enough in others and wonder if this is a reason I am still single. I mean, honestly... I understand 1/2 of his answer so I still feel like I am in the middle and aren't relating with either side fully. Its frustrating! I am confident in who I am, but like I said, some find it too nerdy adn others not enough. So, excuuuuuuse me for asking... sheesh!

As a geek girl, my answer is: be as geeky or nerdy as you really are, and look for someone who is, too!

Geek girls are hugely popular amidst all the gamer/movie/book/science/tech/etc. geek crowd, apparently. I am no supermodel (not by any standard, I'm a jeans a geeky tshirt kinda gal) yet I easily get dates, and really cool/handsome/interesting guys, too. :)

Just 'market' yourself for the right target audience. If you're a nerdy girl, go for guys who enjoy doing nerdy things (and no, it doesn't strictly mean dorky guys who can't do sports or act macho or whatever - many geek guys are well-rounded individuals with a lot of non-geek interests as well).

Try dating sites like gk2gk.com (a site specifically for geeks), or OKCupid (easy to meet geeks there too), or use meetup.com (a website to find groups of like-minded individuals interested in specific hobbies - anything from photography to salsa to D&D).

When I was younger and didn't know any better, I tried to be the 'regular girl' to grab anyone's attention. Then I realized that I am having way more fun amongst people who can discuss books, b-movies, videogames, and who know what a critical roll is. =p I started 'selling' myself as a geek girl, and met guys who were much more interesting (and more guys in general) and also more interested in the real me.

Just be yourself. I know it is cheesy, but it works.

Just be yourself. Know yourself. And look for guys who are looking for what you have to offer.
