I sense you're a Gemini, so I will answer your question. I get along famously with Gemini's and most other air signs.
My take on horoscopes is fairly simple: I believe it's far from a hard science, but not utter horse sh*t either. I don't base any part of my life around it, but I do know plenty people smarter than me who do.
In terms of one's horoscope, being a marker for personality traits and relationship compatibility - it's really a chicken and egg thing for me. For example, I believe people read into signs based on what they desire. If you find out your boyfriend was a cheating prick, you can say, "That's what I get for dating a Scorpio." If you and your man are well on your way to the alter, you can feel confident that astrology's got your back, "Tim and I are the perfect match. He's a Taurus and I'm a Capricorn."
To suggest that the date you were born plays a larger role in identifying compatibility than say, where you were raised; how you were raised; what interests you; your job, political/cultural affiliation, day to day lifestyle, is Cuckoo Town. Essentially, why even bother with life if so much is already dictated for you? It becomes a very basic question of self determination, fate and your overall philosophy on life.
But here I go again, spouting at the mouth like a true and proud Leo. Oh? What? There's a new sign being added? I'm no longer a Leo? That's fine. Let me rephrase my ending.
But here I go again, spouting at the mouth like a true and proud Virgo.
hey don't be knocking the scorps FG lol love this answer, one of the best answers i've seen yet about horoscopes.
Well, I can't be knocking astrology. My wifey decided I was right for her based on compatibility in the Chinese Zodiac. Year of the Dragon FTW!
