Every so often we get questions that make me realize that women have ABSOLUTELY no idea what in the world is going on when it comes to relationships. Most people think that men aren't ready to be in relationships but the truth is, women have just as many issues as we do.
This question highlights this. This woman is asking questions about a man who CLEARLY is interested because she doesn't want to be unsure. I get the impression that even if a man proposed, she'd say, "are you sure?"
YES. The man asked you out, calls you, AND gets you gifts. He definitely likes you? Why do you even have to question this? And further, what would it take for you to acknowledge that he does? What do you need to see to believe it?

This seems like the type of woman where you say "you look pretty today" she gets all "ohhh really??? how so? oh nah you're just saying that" to the point where you wish you hadnt said it at all! Obviously he likes her, and unless she's been really hurt in the past, she knows that he does too. She just wants the pay on the back, way-to-go speech that she doesnt need so she can share with all the ladies on here...look what I have!
