Well, assuming that body hair even does gross out a guy - there is an entire segment of the male populace who actually likes body hair on a woman, call me the New Edition, count me out - it depends largely on the chap.
I think most guys don't mind and even understand stubble. I think it only starts to bother us when it's extremely noticeable. Now for me, I just don't appreciate seeing under arm hair. If it looks like you've got Buckwheat in a headlock under there, it's no bueno.
Simiarly to the bikini line. I cannot tell you how disgusted I was this one time I was at a beach and I saw a woman with a bikini on and hair protruding from it. That was just wrong.
On every possible level. Mostly because aesthetically, it looked horrendous. And at the end of the day, that's what it's all about...aesthetics.
Hair on the arms isn't a big deal generally. But society has taught us that under arm hair and leg hair just isn't attractive and the majority of us have bought this hook, line, and sinker. And I'm no different.
But to each his own and it largely just depends on the guy. And "private part" stubble generally is expected unless you're just dealing with a guy who appreciates trips to Brazil.
Actually it's also not about aesthetics but about some cleanliness. The reason why there are separate deodorants for men and women is because men's deodorant typically can handle the underarm hair. The same goes for in the bikini area. Less hair = less odor. So even though I'm not seeing anyone, I still keep it tame for that sense.
lack of body hair has nothing to do with "Cleanliness" or odor hahaha. what b.s.
women shaving their underarms didnt become popular till the early 1900s and thats because of advertising. shaving companies began to promote women razors around the same time that wearing sleeveless dresses became fashionable.
leg shaving didnt become widespread until the 50s/60s when miniskirts, and tiny shorts became the style and genital shaving didnt become popular until the 80s when the porn industry perpetuated.
actually having body hair protects you from infections, not to mention body hair removal can lead to razor bumps (if shaving), is often painful (if waxing/other methods), cuts, burns, and overall irritations.
that being said, i do shave but i dont delude myself into thinking is for "Cleanliness" purposes, its because thats what deemed socially acceptable nowadays.
hairier the better except facial on a woman ...the hairy bikini girl on the beach is hot to this fellow.
Yep. Definitely the hairier the better. Best sex I've ever had with women has been with the ones who genuinely could not give a shit about what everyone else thought they looked like. Real character and true beauty. And I'm not talking dirty or unclean women, just ones with soft downy hair on them, exactly the way that they're supposed to be.
And yes. SUPPOSED to be. Naturally. It's make-up and shaving etc that are the recent additions to our supposed beauty regimes, not a lack of such. ;)
Hate to break it to some people but hair on the body, especially on the bikini line is there for a purpose. The major one being to ventilate that area well so that the woman doesn't end up with an infection of some sort down there. It's healthier to have the hair there.
Underarms, too. Although you don't get too many infections there, you can still end up with a topical yeast infection. Hence, antiperspirant. (NOT deodorant! That only takes care of the odor.)
So my guy is going to have to be okay with a little body hair. :)
