You are experiencing one of the great ironies of life: Sometimes when we finally get what we want, we no longer want it.
Here's the deal. Either:
1. He took too long to make a move, and now you're over it.
2. Now that you have him, he's no longer appealing. You were crushing on the mystery and the general not-having-ness of him, and not on him.
3. You weren't really all that into him. He was a crush, and when presented with the reality of actually dating him, you realize the feelings aren't enough to actually sustain a relationship.
So let him down easy and move on.
Of course, once you turn him down and he goes away, you may want him again. If so, this is a sign that you are someone who wants what they can't have. This is something you will want to address, as it will lead to years of pining over guys who dumped you, lusting after married friends, and wondering if that cute coffee barista is jerky towards you because he hates his job or because he actually likes you.

Having is not as pleasing a thing as wanting. It is not logical but is often true.
