I agree with you. That's a little odd and unnerving. Does he do it on purpose? Seems like it would take a lot of effort to kiss like that. Still, it's not something I would consider a deal-breaker, but everyone's different. If it creeps you out that much, maybe you can teach him how to kiss with his eyes closed. I think he would enjoy it more.
One question for you: if your eyes are closed, how do you know that his are open?

Sometimes I kiss with my eyes open, just to look at my partner-kinda like another form of connection but it's usually just a quick glance thing. I agree with teaching him how you like to kiss because most people are open to suggestions!

I am a peeker. Because sometimes you can tell how much a girl is into the kiss by the expression on her face. I think so anyway. I used to peek at my ex at times (when we were kissing) because I thought she was beautiful and I thought that the expression on her face at that time was beautiful as well. Sue me.
