It's not that actions speak louder than words. I mean, this is a universal truth. Helping someone out of a burning building is a bolder act than shouting "I'm coming to help you," and then sitting on your ass. But words and actions have a symbiotic relationship. Words are empty vessels, like ornate pitchers, if you will. Actions are the beer.
If your actions don't back up your words, your words are as useless as a pitcher with no beer.
