I'd curtsy, but then I'm pretty sure that might be questionsable activity and I'm already wearing a kilt plus you see the picture I have here on Guyspeak. It's just all bad.

Now to your question. What makes you think that these guys are interested in you. Let's just take a standard look at a man's goals when it comes to a woman: panty procurement. We are built to not do anything that would hinder that progress. While some men suck at this art tremendously, generally speaking, we all want the maximum amount of booty we can get.

Telling you about a hot or pretty ex doesn't move along that process. If anything, it confuses you and slows down the process. Thing is, we know that. I would probably only tell a chick that I had a marginal interest in how hot my ex was if I needed to slow down the escalation that may be occurring.

Then again, this is situational. Did you bring it up? Did the conversation happen organically and he was merely pointing out the obvious in context of the discussion you were having? If that's the case, then he was merely just stating a fact, and possibly letting you know in an odd way that you're better than she was. But again, this ALL depends on context.

So, perhaps I'm hedging a bit from my earlier hardline stance. Just think about why it even came up. Was he just telling you out of the blue for no reason? Or did this come up because you said his previous ladies have been thundergoats and he was defending himself?

It all depends. Like old people.
