Its so hard to say with men though... I have always been told to be careful not to read to much into the sex.. Even when it seems intensely passionate it could just be sex to him. Doesn't necessarily have meaning..Am I wrong? My bf is amazingly tender and passionate during and after love-making, but he's sometimes very withdrawn outside the bedroom and it leaves me feeling completely uncertain about what he's thinking.

My bf is actually VERY withdrawn after sex. I asked him about it one time and he says some guys feel guilty after they come.. leaving them depressed.. Like they shouldn't have done it.. He's fine after a while though. Also he gets pretty sleepy, lol. :) I wouldn't worry about it too muh.

My boyfriend is the same, after we've mad love he'll turn away from me leave it about 5 minutes then just turn to face me and go to sleep. No "Goodnight beautiful" Or a kiss goodnight, nothing. Its really frustrating considering on the nights we don't make love he's all cuddles, "Goodnight beautiful" and even the goodnight kiss. I mean am I just expecting to much from him? Is expecting a goodnight kiss and the words "Goodnight beautiful" too much to ask for nowadays?

I have the same issue. Men please this strange behaviour to us? Because from my perspective it is mighty inconsistant.

Don't be presumptuous. How about you, you know, /ask/ your husband why he's not in the mood for conversation after lovemaking? Better yet, why not try to start a conversation right then and there? :)

we are not all like that. I for one enjoy the "after cuddle" with or without conversation. I also prefer to make sure my partner falls asleep first, exhausted and satisfied.
