I would not agree with that statement as it is phrased. Because it assumes that women are somehow immune to temptation. That women never have to make the choice between right and wrong. Both sexes have to make moral decisions in their lives.
I have met plenty of women who couldn't choose between the men in their lives. Silly and shallow women who, I swear, compared men like they were cars. Talked about the men they were dating according to what those men could do for those women. So-and-so makes this much a year, so-and-so got this promotion, so-and-so bought me this, took me there, surprised me with that. Those women had options. And eventually once they chose their prize horse, I wasn't left with the idea that they still weren't rating, dating, and mating other guys.
Men do the same thing. Being a selfish douche is not gender-specific. Sorry.
But then there are those people who try to make the right choices. Sometimes one has to make a terrible choice in order to learn how to make better ones. We're all only human after all.
A man and a woman are only as faithful as they choose to be.

"A man and a woman are only as faithful as they choose to be." Wise, concise, quotable.
