The Braxton's Need Therapy and Hugs...Big Time

It's time for another weekly recap of Braxton Family Values. And let me tell you, this week's episode (WEtv, Thursday 9PM EST), highlighted the need for therapy to me. Look, we all know that Tamar is extra, but now I'm just convinced that she needs help. But, like Michael Jackson let us all know, she is not alone.
I saw in the preview for next week's episode that they're going to go to a group therapy session with Dr. Sherry. Great. And good luck Dr. Sherry. I haven't seen the episode but I'll tell you what, I'll be sitting there with my popcorn. And do you know why? It's because I have some observations that I'd like to throw out there in psychologist style.

See, we here at Guyspeak are sort of armchair psychologists (non-licensed of course, unless you count my District of Columbia license and I'm sure you don't, whoever you are) by trade. We are tasked with digging into the truth, the light, and the way on some biblical stuff. Sometimes we fall short but since we all fall down, and then we get up and hit our Dougie, it's all good like sunshine in Cali.

And since I've COMPLETELY gotten off track, here are some of my therapeutic observations and suggestions.

Tamar
- It's easy to start with Tamar so let's just go here. Tamar exhibits the most sincere form of "youngest child" syndrome known to mankind. I'm talking in the history of the world. The whole entire world. She's constantly lashing out for attention and to assert her presence as if to make sure that everybody knows she's there. She also never thinks that she's wrong and then lashes out when anybody disagrees with her. THEN she holds up everything until she's fine with it. Classic a**hole traits as well. On the whole episode she CONSTANTLY wanted everything to happen her way. Honestly, I'm not even sure what happened and why they couldn't get their stuff together, but it was at least edited to point out that she had a big hand in that. Suggetsion: Tamar, sit your azz down.

Tracy - Tracy suffers from a classic case of chip on her shoulder-itis. And I understand. She's the one who never got her shot and she's just trying to go along to get along. However, she's got some issues with everybody and her role in their family as the least entertainer one. Sometimes I feel bad for her because she's just trying to be apart of the family legacy and it doesn't seem to be working. Suggestion: she need's a hug.

Trina - Ahhh, my wife. She's perfect in every way and attempts to be a moderator when she can. Honestly, when it comes to needing therapy she clearly needs to stop drinking and work on that marriage of hers (until she meets me anyway), but as far as the family issues goes, she seems alright short of her beefing with Tamar who is the most beefable chick on the planet. I REALLY want to see how her and her husband get along. Tamar and Vince that is. Oh right, Trina. Suggestion: Keep doing what you do, boom boom.

Towanda - You know, initially, I thought she didn't have much in the way of issues. Turns out she's got some issues of her own. She's got some control issues she needs to work out. Though they all stem from Tamar. Noticing a theme here? In fact, my guess is that everybody would get along a little easier if Tamar would calm the CENSORED down. But Towanda does need to learn how to communicate what's going on a little better, something I do think would help mitigate some of the Tamar beef. You can't just get on the phone and roll out in the middle of rehearsal and look at other people like they're crazy because they DON'T know what you're doing. Suggestions: Speak up more.

Toni - Look at me Toni, you got your feelings hurt this past week. You get a pass. Your sisters let you down for no good reason and I felt bad. Hug? Hug. Suggestion: Get into their arses for letting you down.

I'll be waiting to see if anything I said here shows up in the therapy session since I feel like I'm right on point. See y'all next week!

Like seriously I want to call WeTV and really have a sit down with Mrs. Tamar, look her in her eyes, and have a convo with her about whats REALLY going on. At first her antics and sayings were cute but now her ego makes her look damn near mentally ill. I find it hard to believe she's really the way she's portraying herself on tv (I hope to God she's acting out for the cameras) cuz that can't really be her personality really?? But gots to disagree with u on one point. Trina might be one of the sanest Braxtons but admitting she sucked another mans dick is muy no bueno. Let Dr. Sherry get in that ass too.
