I've long been amazed by the lack of common sense that seems to be so present in public schools. You've got teachers sleeping with students. You've got separate proms for Black and white students in some places. Etc, etc, etc. And it's almost like nobody thinks anything is wrong with it. Hell there are times when the principals and administrators are complicit.
Which brings us to the most g*td**n ridiculous thing I've seen come out of a public high school in quite some time. It seems that in one Minnesota high school, there are some really sick students AND parents. Via Gawker:
Which is the other really jacked up part. So you've got boys kissing their mother and dads kissing their daughters. Kids are cruel. Can you imagine the jokes that are going to fly on that one?
"Dude, you frenched your mom."
And its true. There's no comeback. Poor blindfolded students. They got totally suckered into doing something that I'm fairly sure they would have a significant problem with. I'd slap the monkeyshine *CENSORED* out of whoever did that to me.
Then we've got teachers. Let's say the students who coordinated it just went rogue. I mean clearly we've got parents who have no sense so let's just say that this wasn't cleared by anybody. Why the hell didn't somebody pull the plug AFTER THE FIRST DISPLAY OF SUCK FACKTISTICNESS? Teachers go to pep rallies. So do principals. The whole damn school was probably there and no adult stepped in?
I think thats the most disturbing part. Look, a prank is a prank. I get that. But some pranks go too far and this one involves acts that I'm fairly sure could be deemed illegal in some places. I mean, not to go all Colombo or anything, but I'm pretty sure that this is nearly akin to sexual abuse in some places. But these students and admins thought this prank was funny? And the parents...lawd. I'm just done with everybody involved.
I also realize that lack of common sense is a societal problem but if we're going to entrust our children with teachers and principals at these schools then the least we can do is hope that they're no kissing their parents who obviously go too far for sports.
Luckily we have a collectively short memory and this won't matter a week from now. But I'd like to be the one who gets to fire everybody involved.
Please and thank you.
Minnesota's Rosemount High had an awesome idea for a prank at this year's winter pep rally. Just awesome: blindfold all the sports captains and have them make out with people. And the "prank" part is that they're making out with their parents. Who aren't blindfolded.Seriously...and I mean this, what kind of suck fick parent would ACTUALLY MAKE OUT WITH THEIR OWN KID AS PART OF A PRANK???? Did none of the parents say to themselves, "hey guys, does anything think there's a slight conflict of interest here?" NOBODY had that epiphany??? I have a daughter. It will be a cold day in hell before I could be convinced to do something like that. Much less in motherloving PUBLIC.

Sad… very sad. I raised my kids with morals, values & honor. I can honestly say, I see them raising their the same way.
I think I need to go throw up...
There is no way in hell that I would ever participate in anything so sick, and I would have been screaming in protest the instant I heard about it. That is just nasty!
*Shudder* I'm with you, Panama. That is nasty on SO many levels. My mind boggles at the grossness and lack of morals and common sense shown here. Seriously, what is wrong with people?!
I hope these parents are prosecuted for molestation, incest and sexual assault and have their kids taken away from them. This is SICKENING.
oh god, that can NOT be real! O_O
I actually googled this in the hopes snopes would have debunked this story giving it a false rating.
This makes me sad for the kids who's parents turned on them and did this to them. I would never forgive them. My god.
How can our young not be discouraged when the adults they most trust turn on them?
This is so outrageous I gotta wonder if it is even true and a week or so later we will hear this story was a hoax, as with some other outrageous stories that also turned out to be hoaxes. I wouldn't be surprised if the story itself was the actual prank, the pranksters behind it knowing full well the shock, horror, and outrage such a "story" would cause - as rightfully it should.
If it does end up being true, then there are some very sick people in Minnesota! Some parents who should no longer be parents, teachers who should be fired, and school faculty that need to go, like now!
This story is so nasty half way into it I vomited in my mouth a little.Unfortunately for me I continued to read the rest of your story and I had to put my Laptop down and vomit. I hope all adults involved get the S**T slapped out of them or at least is no longer aloud around Children. I am pretty sure this could be called INCEST and should be charged as such!
Ew Ew EWWWW. I am really REALLY hoping this is some kind of fake story and it did not happen. Not only can I NOT believe that people actually thought this would be a funny prank, I also can NOT believe that any of the parents went along with this. They would be setting their children up for YEARS of therapy (and potentially producing future sickos, weirdos, and serial rapists, etc) by KNOWINGLY having their child make out with them. Talk about a breach of trust!
Ew (shuddering), I cannot believe this. And if it really is true, I hope the parents are charged with something (ANYTHING) to send home the message that this was really NOT a good idea.
Isn't that sexual assault, come to think of it? Hard to fight that with so many, erm, witnesses...
