With summer almost here, there's a slew of awesome stuff coming out that your guy will want to grab. (Or hope you'll grab for him.) Looking for a birthday gift or anniversary present? Or maybe a "thanks for being the best boyfriend ever" surprise? Then check out five summer "must haves" for your guy. From clothing to music, there's something for every guy here.

Green Lantern Converse All Stars
With Green Lantern hitting theaters soon, Ryan Reynolds' smirk has been plastered across a ton of merchandise. My favorite piece of Lantern swag by far is this pair of Chucks featuring comic book art of Hal Jordan, Sinestro, Kilowog, and the rest of the Lantern Corps in action. In brightest day, in blackest night...these sweet kicks should not escape your guy's sight!
L.A. Noire from RockStar Games
The latest from the studio behind Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption (Chic Geek's vote for 2010's best video game) lets you play in a stunning 1940s film noir world of crooked cops and murderous drug dealers. With photorealistic graphics, a strong cast, and a twist-filled storyline, L.A. Noire is like an interactive version of Chinatown. Word is Portal 2 could have some competish in the best game of '11 race.
Foster the People, Torches
The electro-pop goodness of Foster the People's debut album will be catnip to fans of MGMT, Passion Pit, and other synth-heavy party-starters. With hooks a-plenty, indie pop gems like "Helena Beat" and "I Would Do Anything For You" will be the perfect soundtrack for his annual Memorial Day BBQ. (Check out Foster the People at SXSW with TV on the Radio, another band with a new album worth checking out.)
Alien and Aliens Blu-ray
Guys love the first two Alien movies. The third and fourth, not so much. So skip the expensive Alien Anthology box set and opt for the just-released single disc versions of the first two installments in the classic Sigourney Weaver sci-fi epic. Dim the lights and enjoy the days when Weaver fought scary aliens, as opposed to blue ones who go around sticking their hair in random flying dragon things.
Game of Thrones Boxed Set
If your guy is obsessed with the new HBO series Game of Thrones, grab this super cheap boxed set of the first four books in George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series. Just tell him to read slowly. The fifth book is taking a looooong time to come out.

Must haves for 'your guy' if your guy so happens to be Nick Nadel???
Hmm? Hmm????
My guy would flip for this stuff too. But he's a bit too nerdy for his own good, one of the reasons I keep him around ;)
You got me. I hope my girlfriend is reading this! (Hint, hint!) Also, love the username.
I have L.A. Noire pre-ordered, I own all four books in A Song of Ice and Fire, and am EAGERLY waiting for the fifth (Since 2009), and would easily, easily shell out $60 for these (http://www.journeys.com/product.aspx?id=175289&green=24426726763) shoes, which IMO, are much more cool.
WHAT? Want those now!
I also like these vintage GL Converse:

I'm already waiting on my "thanks for being the best boyfriend ever" surprise present for my nerd boyfriend - I ordered him a really nice D20 online. I really like these lists, they're a great place to start for birthday and Xmas present ideas.
Those shoes are awesome! my bf LOVED them! but do they make them is adult sizes? nope. My bf has big feet so they didn't fit at all , he was heartbroken! So I did what any good artistic girlfriend does, I made him his own. White blank shoes a drew/painted them myself! Original and the perfect size!
