Aaaaaaand we're back with another recap of Braxton Family Values, the WE tv show about the life of Toni Braxton and her less famous but more entertaining sisters and mother. Sorry I missed the recap from two weeks ago. Life happens. But we're back like cooked crack now. Sadatay. And we've got all kinds of interesting stuff going on in this latest episode.
So let's start with the most ridiculous, which is no easy feat for a cast that includes both Andre AND Gabe.
So Gabe's non-trusting self put some GPS spy software on Trina's phone...because he doesn't trust her. Not that she's ever given him a reason. But because he cheated and now doesn't trust her to NOT get back at him by cheating.
Men, men, men. We sure can be stupid sometimes. For one, if you cheat, DO NOT STOP TRUSTING THE PERSON WHO DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. He f*cked up but he's out here making her life miserable with his non-trusting ways. Lawdhafmercy.
THEN, we got Andre aka A. Montellus C, the unemployed author. How a man who is currently living in the house of his ex-wife's sister is writing a book about being in a successful relationship is beyond me. But I ain't one to gossip so you ain't heard that from me.
Seriously though, the amount of therapy and help Trina/Gabe and Andre/Towanda need is amazing. Thing with Andrea and Tawanda is that he just needs to get his job on in order to provide for his family. He doesn't seem like a bad guy, just a lazy one. Still, that's no bueno when you have a (ex) wife and a kids that you still live with and support.
Odd world.
Oooh, ooh....Tamar. No recap is complete without as many mentions of Tamar as possible. Tamar. Tamar. Tamar. Interestingly, Tamar got the chance to be a fill-in radio personality in Chicago and I couldn't think of a better job for her to have. Tamar is a personality through and through. All she really wants is to become famous. Singing, being herself, whatever...anything to get her there. But one thing she is is a talker. And a diva. That's perfect for radio and then television in the future. While I love everybody on the show, she seems like the only one (aside from Toni) who could actually spin a real career out of being on this show. Personality is the currency that keeps on giving in the entertainment industry, and Tamar has it in spades.
Oh, and Toni is trying to rope Towanda back into being her assistant. Let me just tell you, if there's one job in this world I don't want, it's personal assistant to a celebrity. And Toni doesn't seem crazy but still. What a craptastic job. If anything, that's why Andre needs to get his stuff together, to make sure that his wife doesn't have to clean Toni Braxton's bathroom.
Can't wait until next week when Traci apparently discovers that she ain't as ready to perform as she thinks she is.
Posse out.

God I love your recaps. Please keep them coming.
Honestly, I don't think therapy can fix whatever Trina and Gabe have going on. The man is too damn creepy and smiles when she yells at him. Who does that?
