After a taping of The Today Show, Kanye took to his Twitter account and let off some proverbial rounds at Tom Cruise's favorite interviewer. It would seem that Kanye was invited to talk about the remarks that hilarious former President George "Dubya" Bush made about Mr. West's remark that he did not care about Black people and thus being called a racist being the low point of his presidency.
That last sentence was doing a lot, wasn't it?
Anyway, it would seem that, according to Kanyeevel, Mr. Lauer, insidiously, decided to force him into a conversation that he didn't want to have and not really allow him to empathize with 43, or as we call him in the hood, Fo-Trey. To wit (via RapRadar and the Twitternets):
I went up there to express how I was empathetic to Bush because I labeled him a racist and years later I got labeled as a racist.... While I was trying to give the interview they started playing the "MTV" under me with audio!!!!!!! I don't mess with Matt Lauer or the Today Show ... and that's a very nice way for me to put it! HE TRIED TO FORCE MY ANSWERS. IT WAS VERY BRUTAL AND I CAME THERE WITH ONLY POSITIVE INTENT. I feel very alone very used very tortured very forced very misunderstood very hollow very very misused. I don't trust anyone but myself! Everyone has an agenda. I don't do press anymore. I can't be everything to everybody anymore. I can't be everybody's hero and villain savior and sinner Christian and anti Christ!
Poor Kanye. I'm not sure if his statement about feeling "alone" was a genius marketing ploy since he has a song on his album called "Lost In The World" which, is almost like being alone. Do you see what I did there? Do you see what Kanye did there??? Amazing his brilliance, no?
You know, we really should let the poor guy live. It's bad enough that he's a multi-millionaire that nobody really likes outside of his musical works. Now he can't even go on public television with positivity without somebody trying to tear him down. The man apologizes and apologizes and we won't let him be great. Matt Lauer, you cad. Kanye really is just one big hug. Yes, what I meant is exactly what you read. He's kind warmth and and embrace of...something when you need it most. And we will not let him be great.
He's only trying to create and save us from ourselves with thirty-four minute self-provided handjobs. Matt Lauer is kind of a douche anyway, so perhaps Kanye got it right this time. But Matt, you aren't the first and you won't be the last. Just ask George Bush, Taylor Swift, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Kanye West, Kanye West, and probably Kanye West.
He's mad and he's got an oulet. And we are all the better for it.
He will be what his is. Which is a douche.
Yea i have a little bit of a fear too. Nothing at all has changed since Bush...
George Bush is a piece of shit. And when Kanye said what he said during Katrina, he was spot on .

It was the worst 8 years we ever had.. And truly it makes me fear for the future...
I seriously cannot wait for the new Kanye. Also Nicki Minaj's debut. Her verse on "Monster" is hot fire. What can I say? They're both crazy talented (and also crazy).
agreed PJ......Mr. West just needs a biiiiig ol bear hug.
