What's your favorite romantic Christmas carol/ holiday song? Which one drives you crazy?
Chic Geek says:
Best: "Last Christmas" by Wham (the video is amazing. So many '80s Christmas sweaters) and "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" by Darlene Love which is just a great song any time of the year.
Worst: "All I Want For Christmas Is You." Really, it needs to go away. The Justin Bieber version officially killed it.
Wise-Ass says:
Best: I'll Be Home For Christmas, O Holy Night, It Must Have Been Ol' Santa Claus
Worst: Songs that are goofy (Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer), maudlin (The Christmas Shoes) or by the band Alabama. Christmas In Dixie makes me want to shoot myself in the face.

Band Aid - Feed The World (Original Version)
I defy you to not pop an emotional boner by 1:22.

Christmas carols are romantic? Why didn't I get this memo?
Favorite, and the one we cuddle to, is Silent Night.
Reformed Player says:
This is the point where I admit I'm terrible with music, but I do have a strong affection for the classics: Bing Crosby, Etta Fitzgerald, and the like. Although I temper that with a considerable amount of Bob Rivers, of "The Restroom Door Said Gentlemen" fame.
As for the Christmas song I hate, the ear-bleeding "Dominic the Donkey" is hatred in sonic form. If you grew up listening to this song, you were abused, you have Stockholm Syndrome, and you should confront your parents about it. It is what the Legions of Hell will sing on Judgment Day as they rise from the lower depths to destroy us all.
Gal Pal says:
"Please Come Home for Christmas" always tugs on the heart strings. But my favorite is "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" - the Judy Garland version from "Meet Me in St. Louis" with the poignant line, "Someday soon, we all will be together / If the Fates allow / Until then, we'll have to muddle through somehow."
What's your favorite romantic Christmas song?
My least favorite is "Baby, It's Cold Outside." Listen to the lyrics... I mean, really? "Say, what's in this drink?" Honey, whatever it is, why are you drinking it?
I came to say that that one was my favorite, haha! That line is odd, but I love the back-and-forth, flirty dialogue. And "my, your lips look delicious..." seriously...I melt!
