Best: "Last Christmas" by Wham (the video is amazing. So many '80s Christmas sweaters) and "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" by Darlene Love which is just a great song any time of the year. 

Worst: "All I Want For Christmas Is You." Really, it needs to go away. The Justin Bieber version officially killed it. 

Best: I'll Be Home For Christmas, O Holy Night, It Must Have Been Ol' Santa Claus

Worst: Songs that are goofy (Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer), maudlin (The Christmas Shoes) or by the band Alabama. Christmas In Dixie makes me want to shoot myself in the face.

Favorite, and the one we cuddle to, is Silent Night.

This is the point where I admit I'm terrible with music, but I do have a strong affection for the classics: Bing Crosby, Etta Fitzgerald, and the like.  Although I temper that with a considerable amount of Bob Rivers, of "The Restroom Door Said Gentlemen" fame.

As for the Christmas song I hate, the ear-bleeding "Dominic the Donkey" is hatred in sonic form.  If you grew up listening to this song, you were abused, you have Stockholm Syndrome, and you should confront your parents about it.  It is what the Legions of Hell will sing on Judgment Day as they rise from the lower depths to destroy us all.

"Please Come Home for Christmas" always tugs on the heart strings. But my favorite is "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" - the Judy Garland version from "Meet Me in St. Louis" with the poignant line, "Someday soon, we all will be together / If the Fates allow / Until then, we'll have to muddle through somehow."
