Lightning Round, Vol. 3: Questions Answered In A Flash, Sans Sarcasm (Mostly)

Another post wherein I try my very best to forgo the wise-assery and answer your questions seriously but in brief -- because some questions aren't that complicated. (Not to be confused with my award-winning* Quick Answers To Your Quick Questions blog posts.)

Do u think that movies and romance novels are making women's perceptions of love unrealistic?
Yes, but that's the point of movies and romance novels--fantasy. Pornos make men's perceptions of sex unrealistic, too.

How can you tell if a guy is circumsized? My guy and I started having sex only recently and I've never seen his penis without a condom on. I really want to know if he is or isn't, but don't want to feel dumb and ask him. Help!
One has foreskin, one doesn't, but it will be difficult to tell with a condom on it. Just ask him--he won't care. And read this (NSFW).

My boyfriend is a great kisser, but a HORRIBLE French kisser. How can I alter his technique without directly calling him out on it?
If he's not taking cues from the way you do it, then the only way is to show him how you like it. You can bring it up without calling him out and embarrassing him.

How do you break up (least hurtful way) w/ someone who is still in love w/ you? I'm 23, applying to law school, and currently in a three yr long relationship of which I want to get out. I miss the freedom of being single, have been flirting w/ others, and would love to get hot, non-monogamous (possibly bi) action.
The least hurtful way is to tell him the truth and not make up lame excuses. Tell him what you told me--that you want to see other people. Skip the part about hot, non-monogamous, possibly bi action.

What would be a good reason a guy would delete you off Facebook, knowing that you had sex with him/hung out on numerous occasions and you have never stalked or harrassed him.
He has a new girlfriend and didn't want her to see you in his friends list.

If a guy says that you should go on a date after work one day how do you go about getting him to set a date and make it happen? Do you wait for him to bring it up again or can i bring it up?
You can bring it up if you want, but it sounds like a "let's do lunch" scenario to me, i.e. he wasn't serious. But if you like him, go for it. The worst he can do is say no.

The sexiest tips to turn a guy on while dancing with him on the dance floor?
Just dance--no tips necessary. Unless you dance like Elaine on Seinfeld, just watching you will turn him on. It doesn't hurt to rub your ass on him, though.

Say you went on one or two dates with this guy and everything seemed to go well, but after the last date, he calling and replying to messages. What do you think of sending an e-mail saying 'it's fine if you lost interest, but please just let me know'. I just want closure!
Of course you do, but closure can't always be had. He's not going to tell you anything you don't already know--of course he lost interest. It happens. Let it go and move on.

Ok so I've been dating this guy for over a year but no matter what he does during sex my nipples will not get hard. How big of a deal is it to a guy if our nipples don't react?
Not a big deal to us.

Why is it that most men don't wash theirs hands after they just used the bathroom? I think it's gross and I make it a priority to make sure if they do or don't before dating them.
The statistic I read was just under 50%, so not quite "most," but close enough. Why? I have no idea. I think it's gross, too--and a good reminder why you should never eat loose candy from a public bowl.

"Men love women, women love children" do you agree with this?
I don't know what that means. I'm a man, and I love women and children. Most women I know love men and kids.

My boyfriend of 6 years and father of our two kids doesn't want to get married, why?
He doesn't think it's important, he fears it will complicate things, and/or he wants an easy out if he ever decides to bail.

I posted 2 questions for u. U never replied. How do u select on which ones to answer and which ones not to?
I look for questions that: are different from ones I (or we) have already answered; have broad appeal and themes, not just "why does my guy say this or do that?"; have depth and can support a longer, more thoughtful answer; don't ramble on and on; don't make my eyes hurt when I read them (typos, l33t, texting abbreviations, etc)

I liked that last answer best. I had to look up what l33t was. I learned something--that's always a good thing. =) Now I know why the IT guy at work is always writing "3" for the letter "e."

There's a part of the penis called the "meatus?" How did I not know this?!

Thanks for the wiki-link, Cary! ;)

Cary McNeal

Yep, which is actually where the phrase "beat your meat" comes from. Originally it was "beatus your meatus."

You're killin' me man...hahaha
