I think that question meant that how to have the guy like her as more than a friend, sure he may already like her, but only see her as a friend, how do you get out of the friend zone?
I mean I can totally relate to that question, so I think I may know what the person meant by that question, but it was horribly phrased.

Well, maybe the joke's on me, but I used to talk to a guy (best friend, at the time) around 12 hours a day. No kidding, we spent all day in school together (about 7-8 hours), and then chat from about 5-11pm. Add to that the fact that we sometimes worked together in projects and between talking and working, we could easily not be done until 2am on the third day of working on an assignment that shouldn't have taken much more than an afternoon.
It was clear we were just friends, and we could talk about our boy/girlfriends and crushes, no problem. For all I know, he didn't like me any more than I did him (which is to say, I just liked talking to him, but never considered anything else). I did say joke's on me, maybe, because we don't talk anymore (after keeping that up for 2 years, and even chatting for hours everyday when he moved out of the country) and I've absolutely no idea why. If the problem is he actually liked me, or expected anything, and didn't (though I'm pretty sure he would've) say anything, well... it's too bad, ain't it?
