what about "he's a lucky guy"...is it the same as the last one? likes you but knows there's no chance?

Wow, that really stings. Especially if we're sleeping together. I guess that would be the right time to suggest he spend "some time alone."

That one took me aaages to figure out. My boyfriend use to say that all the time when we first started dating, and I kept thinking to myself "Why doesn't he ever say he thinks I'm pretty, just 'nice'??" Aaand then I figured it out. Haha.
as much as i hate to admit it, if you really think about it, most of these make complete sense!
Now, I understand more of how a man think and say. I have a question to ask, what about if a man said, "you are like a mother to me and I do respect you a lot" what does that mean? Is he attracted to you or just trying to flirt with you? Or he is not into you at all?
Unless he is Oedipus, a man is rarely attracted to a woman who reminds him of his mother.
Of course, many men do expect their girlfriends to be their moms, so I don't know. But if that's the case, then you probably don't want him anyway.
