According to a new study, a man is WAY more likely to forgive a woman if she cheats on him with another woman than if she cheats on him with a man. Guys -- how would you feel about your lady engaging in lesbian cheating? Would you forgive and forget (or ask to join in the fun)? Or would you feel just as betrayed as if she were having an affair with a dude?
Chic Geek says:
Who conducts these studies? "Men like lesbians..." They needed a team of researchers to come to that conclusion? And unless there is cheesy porn sax playing in the background, no situation where a guy catches his lady cheating ends with him joining in on the fun. Usually someone is going to get hurt.
Yeah, it's still cheating whether it's with a man, woman, or centaur. (What? There are some pretty hot centaurs in mythology.) Maybe some guys would see it as less a blow to the ego ("It's not me. It's my whole gender she doesn't want..."), but cheating is still a betrayal.

I'm from the cheating is cheating school. Thing is, I'm not sure I'd know how to process it if I found out my wife or girl was cheating on me with a woman. Cheat with a man, I understand it. Not that it makes it right, and I'd still drop you like third period French, but at least it makes sense. Cheating with a woman might be to satisfy some urge that I can't comprehend. And much like most people, I'm afraid of what I don't understand. It's why Charlie Sheen scares me. I can't process him with a normal brain as he says. So I'm just gonna have to kick her out and date a nun.
Mystery Man says:
My lady ever gets caught cheating there will be total hell on Earth to pay. Don't care if it is with a man, woman or an entire football team, I will demolish them totally. She holds me to that standard - I hold her to the same. We don't cheat on each other. End of story. That is simply lying and being disrespectful, and we don't do that to each other.
Eyes open, after talking it over between us beforehand - well, that is a lot different.
Funny Guy says:
Lesbian cheating makes no difference, it's still lesbian, I mean, still cheating. So yes, I guess after the shock and initial enthusiasm of knowing my lady went up and down on a woman, I'd be real upset. She is betraying our trust, and pooping on our commitment to only use each other's boring genitals for life.
Reformed Player says:
Personally? Cheating is cheating. I am, of course, a huge fan of lesbians, both real lesbians and the ones with ridiculously long fingernails in porn that freak real lesbians out. But if my girlfriend was caught with another woman, by me, I'd be upset just the same as if it were a guy.
Wise-Ass says:
Cheating is cheating. Doesn't matter who you do it with or what gender they are; the problem is the dishonesty of it. I would be upset, and I would also be shocked that I didn't see it coming. I like to think I could/would forgive her, but reestablishing the trust it took us years to build would be a challenge.
Gal Pal says:
After reading the statistics in the study, I assumed at least one of the guys would be more giddy about the girl-on-girl cheating. But I have to agree with them that this issue comes down to commitment, trust and betrayal - not chromosomes. If I found out my boyfriend cheated with another guy, I don't think I'd easily forgive and forget either.
My boyfriend says he would rather have me cheat on him with a woman and he wouldn't be as upset if the other was atractive? I don't understand this?
Personally, if I caught my boyfriend with another guy I'd be most upset that I didn't get invited to watch, I'd be like "Dude, what the hell, you know I love guy on guy, and you're too much of a selfish ass to even invite me to watch? I'm leaving you"
What if your SO informed you she is bi b4 you 2 were serious, then later in the relationship asked if she could go on a date with a woman and potentialy hook up, what would you personaly say?

The responses made me sigh with relief. Cheating in whatever form with whoever and with whatever gender is still cheating.
