The reason it became a question for me is because I have a lot of women friends who tell me about all of the pictures of "questionable media" that they've taken and sent to men. Some of these were men they were interested, but a lot were just to men who pretty much requested them. Which is great if you think about it. One of the biggest drawbacks to confidence for a lot of men and women is comfortability with their bodies. But if people are comfortable enough to send pics back and forth amongst eachoher under the guise of "honor amongst thieves" then I think confidence has the potential to be on the upswing.
I seem to have lost my point.
Oh yes, nude pictures. Well the fact that there are pictures to be sent means that there are pictures being taken and maybe I'm just old school or have been out of the game for too long but it seems that women taking nude pictures of themselves is all the rage. Which is great for men everywhere (for the record, I think female nudity really trumps male nudity for quick pics - how many poses can Junior really do) since the majority of men like female nudity.
Which brings me to another quesiton: do all women do this and I just didn't know it? I did a quick poll of women I know and the vast majorit (we're talking 90 percent) admitted to taking some suggestive and erotic pictures of themselves - some for vanity purposes and some for the pleasure of others. I had no clue. I really didn't and it makes me happy to not have had a clue.
I realize that times have changed and social media and the veil of privacy of email and cell phones and text messages gives everybody the ability to interact directly with one other person at their whim so it seems like we've entered a time of more sexual freedom and trust. Plus, with all of the free pr0n running rampant online it almost seems like women are as likely to take part in partakeage as men. So maybe women are taking back some of the power uncharacteristically reserved for men in this domain. Me no know, but it's an interesting phenomenon that I wasn't aware of until that recent conversation with my homeboy.
So good women of Guyspeak, have you taken "questionable" pictures of yourself to send to other people? Or have you just taken pictures of yourself to have them for a personal collection? And if so, how comfortable are you sending pictures of yourself over the 'Net or via text?

ive only done it for my boyfriend. and not even bad ones.. the worst was with just a thong on... no VAG pics lol

I did it with an ex -- a boob shot via text. No face though -- that was my way of keeping myself "safe."
I used to be a nude stripper and still wouldnt send vag shots, now I will occasionally take some ass or boob shots, but both are usually covered to leave something to the imagination....what fun is it to see so many boobs that they all start looking the same? lol.
No. Neither have I come close to taking one of those pictures nor am I planning to. I don't want them resurfacing 5 or 10 years from now and affecting my career.
When I was with a boy long distance I took quite a few questionable but saucy pictures and sent them to him via internet. But only him. I loved him and trusted him and haven't had that degree of trust for any guy I've been with since, so no nude pictures for them! I am not about to have naughty photos of me stored in the technological devices of possibly untrustworthy men. There was also vanity involved, though it was non intentional consequence vanity of me going "HOT DAMN! Look at this gurl."
Hmm, I tried once cos a long distance boyfriend practically begged me for some, but I seem to have a natural inability to take sexy shots. I just come out looking rather uncomfortable and prim. Even my boyfriend had to admit it sorta spoilt the nakedness. Nevrr done it since, and don't plan too. I feel too silly.
And yeah, only boobs :)
Yes I have taken them, but just for myself, and I deleted them almost immediately. I don't want anybody getting their hands on those!
I've done it before. I met this random guy online I like to call my "fun buddy" and I've sent him boobs, vag and booty. The works lol lucky him! But he's returned the favor trust me ;) and I'm Always careful to not include my Rae in the pic it's always just the certain part of me. He loves em :). Even did a video (a short one) of me flicking the bean. He was in heaven!

No judgement on those who have. All power to you! I definitely admire those for their confidence. I'm just too shy for that sort of thing. I would be to worried about the photos appearing on the internet sans my consent or if it was leaked to my parents, coworkers, or boss. No girl, no.
Several years ago with a boyfriend we took pictures and videos. But then our house was robbed and the camera was one of the things stolen. So far have not seen anything but I'm sure if I were to run for office or something they would resurface. Learned my lesson then. Never again. Fast forward to present time in a different situation with a guy. I don't need his friends knowing what I look like. All guys show these photos to each other. I have guy friends who showed me pics of the girls who send them pictures just to brag and boost their ego. So no, not me.
Uhh no. Its not really a confidence thing for me. It's the fact that i dont want to. I a guy could only send back a pic of one thing Its kinda unfair. Now i think when im married and he was away i would send some.
But i did have a friend in high school who sent some pics to her "boyfriend" who was in florida. When he got back they broke up and every guy with a cell phone that he knew had the pictures. The only reason she found out is because i happen to be looking at a guy friends phone and happen to run across the photo with her tattoo showing (she made the design herself so no one else has it). I was like "Hey, that's blah blah blah......WTF?!?!" and then told her about everyone having her photos.
So i think sending photos to anyone but your husband is a huge risk.

No nudie pics of me! Not hating on those who do, but the only person I'd do that for is my husband. Since I don't have one, nothing is gonna see the vag except me and the shower.

hmmm to be honest i have never thought about it. none of my boyfriends have ever asked me to and i think taking nude photos for myself is a little odd.... i would never send anything over text or the internet. that is just stupid. haha
yes, for a guy i was seeing a while back. im quite proud of the pics themselves, not so much who i sent them to because i now realize what an ass he was. im with a much better guy now and he hasnt asked for pics, but i would take them for him.
I admit that I have sent pics to some guys because it seems like everyone is doing it, not that I am a "follow the crowd" type of girl. I mean, I resisted the Keds craze successfully for years, lol.
But I felt that in sending something like that to someone that I like, it was a freeing experience. I'm kind of shy about photos anyways so it was like killing two birds with one stone. Plus, I wasn't sending jack unless they sent me a money shot first!!

I have done this before and definitely would do again - but it all depends on who you are sending them to! If it's someone you trust and you're comfortable with your body then why not? As long as you know the pictures aren't going anywhere you can take a picture of yourself from the most flattering angle and send it as a saucy reminder that you're thinking of them.
I've sent "questionable" photos to my boyfriend before now. He enjoys them, and it's really a big self-confidence boost for myself! I'd gladly do so again.
i haven't ever. i don't plan on it... it's just too risky that pics would get out and all.
When guys ive talked to asked me for shots of something It always made me uncomfortable. What if someone goes through his phone or something?! yea that was so not going to happen. But my fiance has taken candids of me like getting out of the shower or changing and such and he loves them! But then again he also sends me some impressive shots so it all works out nicely!But I dont know very many girls who take pictures of themselves and send them to guys...
