In 1983, Playboy magazine conducted what it called "the most sweeping sex poll in history," surveying nearly 90,000 male and female readers of the magazine on their bedroom habits and publishing the results over five issues. In January of this year, and for the first time since 1983, Playboy polled readers again, but this time with a slightly different bent, as they explain:
"We repeated the survey so we could compare sex today with sex at the dawn of the digital age. With the help of Harris Interactive, we collected responses from 8,002 male and 2,001 female visitors to Playboy.com, the results of which were weighted to reflect the demographic of the average Playboy reader. Next, to avoid being myopic, we asked Harris to present the survey to a sample of American adults (not just Playboy readers) to learn more about how men and women are having sex in 2011, and particularly the role of technology. The firm interviewed 1,210 men and 1,100 women online and weighted the results to reflect the race, gender, sexual orientation, age, education and other attributes of the U.S. adult population--all 232 million of us."
For the complete results, you will have to consult Playboy's June 2011 issue or this link (warning: some images possibly unsafe for work).

See? You're not so weird after all. Or maybe you are.
Thoughts?
or maybe you are.
lol
I don't think of being filmed/photographed nude as necessarily a sexy thing. I used to work as a model for art schools and artists and they did not treat me as a sex object. They were always very respectful. Nor did it make me feel sexy to be posing nude. Rather the opposite: if I happened to have a sexual thought, it was usually to take me out of the boredom of posing, and once my conscious mind caught onto what my subconscious was doing, I became extremely embarrassed and started thinking of what I was going to have for dinner, or some other non-sexual thing.
11% of men masturbate daily (women: 1%) WHAT?!?!?! I don't believe this one! Should they have asked if they did it more then one time a day? LOL
Haha I was surprised at that one too. Although, every day would be way too much for me. Once a week or so usually keeps me going.
I was expecting more than 11% of men for sure!
Isn't the math for the respondents who have been filmed or photographed nude incorrect? Shouldn't the overall be lower? 27+23 may equal 50, but that doesn't add up to half of the respondents...
