Sane good men don't go out of their way to make women jealous. BFF has that right, it decreases their chances of scoring with both or more if more are involved. I think you are taking it the wrong way or seeing what you want to see which isn't what he's really putting out. He could think of you as a friend and want your insight. You more than likely like him and he doesn't know that. So no, he's not trying to make you jealous. Unless he's an ass. Assholes are not worth the air they breath....

If the man is in a relationship for years with a woman, and he bring up another girl that wants him, and he says he is loyal and only wants his girlfriend and not this other woman, but still states what the other woman said to him. Does this mean he wants his girlfriend to stake her territory for him? or what does this mean?...

If the tables were turned, and i wanted to mention that someone is interested in taking me out for dinner and a movie. Should i mention that to my friend with benefits. We are not in a relationship, but we have sex and go on dates. Is it a good idea to mention someone else is interested? Maybe make him step up to the plate? He's gotten gealous before when i mentioned that i went to a club. Would this make him realize that he shouldn't let me go?...

No, but that particular term does imply sexually appealing. He may also find you beautiful, cute and hot, too....

Heh, yeah each to there own. Shoot even the same word can have a slew of meanings. When I say cute randomly I usually mean "pretty with innocence, zero sex appeal". When I say it to my wife I mean "sexy like a japanese school girl, come here so I can be a dirty old man." When I'm looking at a picture of a kitten I mean "cute"....
