I have exactly the same situation, except that he has a girlfriend and at the beginning of our friendship i was not into him...but now, getting to know him etc i am EVEN though he's not the sort of guy i usually go for. he tried to have sex with me once, i pretend to be asleep, and then i tried to have sex with him and we messed around but eventually he said it would be a bad idea if we slept together...and yet... he's always holding my hand in the street, sleeping over, and taking me out and...

I think it all boils down to being yourself. If a guy finds it unattractive when you curse, then he's probably not going to like other things about you. Find someone else who appreciates you for who you are, and don't change because they say so, do it because you want to!...

I think with the friend thing, they would have to be friends before we had gone out. I have 2 best friends (both boys!) but I've known them both for many years and they don't find me attractive as a mate at all! For a while there, I thought one did, but he didn't.
