I've been dating a guy for a few months and he wont even friend me on FB....but my friends tell me it's better that he calls and texts me everyday, which is REAL communication, so not to worry. STILL, John has a point, as usual. FB is a virtual world of sorts, and an FB poke is no substitute for a real poke, but should I be worried he is hiding something, like his obsession with World of Warcraft or perhaps his dream harem of public models pages that he has become a fan of? Not sure if I should...

Unlike these other people here who care not a whit about their privacy, I will advise you on the opposite. DONT add him as a friend. I think that perhaps like me, the only people you are friends with on FB are. . .*gasp* people with whom you are actually friends. And you like to keep it that way. So do so. Ignore the request, you don't have to deny it, those things never go away until you do or the other person figures out the complicated way to cancel it, so let it float until that 2nd or 3rd...
