  • Stella commented on I'm a little bit overweight, vegetarian, percussion major and I love South Park and Colbert Report. I've got plenty of guy friends but I'm almost NEVER the object of affection. Be honest - if I don't lose the weight, do I have any chance of finding love?
Exactly How overweight are you ? Its a fact, men are visual creatures and so are we as women. I bet if you worked out , you would feel better about yourself and be more confident. Personally, I lost 13 lbs and went from a size 6 to a size 2 and I feel 100xs more confident so it doesnt matter what men are attracted to me, its the fact that I have more options to be choosy about now ! Working out also sends signals to men, that you are care enough about yourself to take care of yourself...

Wow, I was just ambling through the site when I stumbled across this thread and haven't stopped laughing since. I saw the film but never read the books (no need since every female co-worker has provided me a verbal synopsis recently). Bella didn't choose Jake cos she is a whiny tool. And I'm sorry, but wrapping paper (or any paper) has never given me a paper cut that caused me to lose a half litre of blood. And not only is Bella a whiny tool, she's a selfish, mean, whiny tool who strings along someone who she thinks of as her best friend. And don't get me started on Stephenie Meyer. All her characters do is stand around and talk! At least JK Rowling puts her main characters in actual danger. Fourth book is STOOPID and won't work as a film....
