Totally agree MsDelray! I guess I would ask the Football Widows if they like any kind of sports though. If not, it might be a challenge to start. Do you like any kind of competition? That's what makes football fun. Without a competitive spirit, I don't know that they'll ever really enjoy football. What about this though? Do you enjoy cooking? Football and food go hand in hand. I haven't been a true football widow because I've never been married, but I've dated a few guys who were REALLY into sports (and I am not, at all). I found that instead of harping on the guy or pitying myself, it really is best to try and see what he loves about the game. Personally, football strategies are mindblowingly complicated and even when I gave it a genuine try, I couldn't understand it. I'm sorry but stop bitchin' ladies. If football, or any other sport for that matter, is something you bf's or husbands enjoy, let them watch the games! I'm a woman too and I understand a man needs some guy time. I admit I like football and other sports but I had to 'endure' a man being at a LAN party the whole weekend (a few hours is nothing compared to 3 days and I used it to make some time for myself!) and no that ain't why we broke up.
