A holiday, usually occurring over a four-day weekend, that involves the heavy consumption of alcohol. (Ex. Memorial Day, The Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Arbor Day, etc. Basically any non-religious or family-friendly holiday applies.)

I'm still hungover from the 4th and it's Thursday. Another alcoholiday has come and gone.
