The act of taking a beloved geek icon and completely ruining it beyond all recognition. Named for recently departed "Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark" director Julie Taymor.

Have you seen the X-Men: First Class posters? I hope they haven't Taymor'D the X-Men yet again. That third movie was terrible.
