Girls' BFF

The Girls’ BFF is your BS filter. He’s like a sweet and sour gummy bear. He’ll tell you if “he’s just not that into you” whether you want to hear it or not. But he’ll also give you a hug and tell you that you don’t need that guy anyway. The Girls’ BFF is the guy who will listen to what you have to say, tell you when you’re wrong, tell you when you’re right, and then suggest everybody have a drink because, what the hell, who doesn’t love a drink? Sometimes he’s a part of the problem, but he’s still always there to help you undo all of the (usually wrong) over-analysis you and your girlfriends can’t stop yourselves from doing. Basically, the Girl’s BFF is the guy who helps you figure out what’s really going on. But the next move? That’s all on you.

Q: GBFF I would love your insight! it was his idea to "keep in touch" when he moved a few hours away but I haven't heard a thing. Does keeping in touch merely mean "when it works for me" or did he suddenly lose interest??

A: I suppose that depends on just how in touch you all were in the first place. Was this a boyfriend, a really good friend,...

Q: My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year and a half, but he's never given me an orgasm. Not once. We do oral a lot and I get very close, but never close enough. He wants me to orgasm too and he feels guilty over being inexperienced, but he's not very spontaneous, adventurous or sensual. What do I do?

A: Sounds like you need to be more vocal of your wants and needs and potentially take the lead in getting that sexual revol...

Q: Reading your description of Girls' BFF, totally describes who I am. I'm always stuck in a situation where I am a threat to the girls bf. Those girls come, go, then come back to say sorry you were right. I love who I am, but going through friends like that blows. How can I justify to myself that being girls bff is good?

Guy pals have told me that while I'm friendly & approachable, men are likely intimidated because they can tell I'm financially independent and can take care of myself.
